Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) describes complex physiological and psychological symptoms that occur in many women one or two weeks before the onset of menstruation. PMS usually occurs as irritability, nervousness, tension, mood swings, breast hypersensitivity, spasmodic pain and bloating. Women alleviate PMS symptoms with painkillers or sedatives, but these drugs do not help fight the reason of symptoms – hormonal imbalance. Hormone fluctuations can be balanced with the herbal medicine – Agnufem.

Chasteberry extract is widely used in gynaecology. The herb has the following properties:
